The Hifas Da Terra Oncology Team, among which are the company's advisors, Dr. Pere Gascón, and the Director of Institutional Relations and Oncology Project Manager, Dr. Ana Quiñones Laguillo, attended the annual congress of the American Society of Clinical Oncology (disgust) 2016 to know the future in the global treatment of cancer, the scientific topics of relevance and the last Fight against this disease.
In this new global meeting held from June 3 to 7 at the McCormick Place Convention Center in Chicago, more than 35,000 experts from different medical specialties met and 5 200 new studies were presented to contribute to the fight against this disease.
The immune system at the center of all disgusting looks 2016
For decades science has tried to understand the functioning of the immune system to be able to combat, from the same, the cancer cells that still, today, are the great enemy.
In recent years, and thanks to constant research, in this area great advances in cancer treatment have been achieved. Immunotherapy represents a practical example of these in which the recognition of tumor cells is facilitated so that it is the system itself that acts against them.
Our approach to immuno-outsline with surname: integrative immuno-awson
From Hifas Da Terra we bet on the integrative approach of the cancer patient and for this we contribute developing specific products (myco-Onco Care) with high concentrations of bioactive compounds obtained from fungi that participate in the regulation of the immune system and whose action is already referenced in concrete scientific publications. These are some of them:
- Beta-glucans (immune response activators) Hetland G. Medicinal Effects on Tumor & Inflammation Through its Moduction of Immunity & Inflammation. ADV. In Pharm. SCIEN. 2011.
- Some terpenes of Ganoderma lucidum (They induce apootosois or cell death and inhibit telomerase activity) Jiang J. Ganoderic Acids Suppress Growth and Invasive Behavior of Breast Cancer Cells By Modulating AP-1 and NF-Kappabab Signaling. Int J Mol Med. 2008 May; 21 (5): 577-84. Park se. Telomerase-Associated Apoptotic Events by Mushroom G. lucidum on Premailignant Human Uroothelial Cells. Nutr Cancer. 2008; 60 (1): 109-19.

- Fungal extracts of Agaricus Blazei either Frondosa tap They produce improvements in appetite and hair loss in patients undergoing chemotherapy. Mayell M.
